![]() Most of these overlays need a curved CRT shader to avoid cropping too much in the image corners. ![]() You will then be able to access them from the Quick Menu. opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/overlay For all of you that just want an overlay to fill the sides of your screen, it’s meant to be used with 4:3 Aspect ratio and it has a small border to make it look more tv like. To use these overlays, you will need to place the CRT folder in your overlay folder on your Pi: Im also rendering these shaders in 4k, which provides the best results. I'm still working to perfect these, and once I get a good groove going, it will be trivial to expand the library of overlays. In the GTU shader, you will set the horizontal resolution to that of your monitor and the vertical one to the native vertical resolution of the game itself (in this example, Va-11 HaLL-a is 360p and Curse of the Moon is 240p). I can turn off the image on the left and right of the game (when I toggle display overlay off, this disappears so I will call it Display overlay). This is my first post here and I wanted to show some stuff I've been working on and would love some feedback. I converted all my saves from mGBA, SNES9X to BSNES, and ePSXe to Beetle PSX in RA.
